Looking for a highly experienced and driven Senior Manager – Business Development to lead and grow our pharmaceu cal formula ons business across Africa. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the African pharma market and a proven track record in driving sales and partnerships in the region

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans for African markets.
  • Iden fy and establish partnerships with distributors, government bodies, and local stakeholders.
  • Drive market entry strategies, product registra on, and tender par cipa on.
  • Build long-term rela onships with clients and ensure sustained revenue growth.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and compe tor ac vity across the region.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (regulatory, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless execu on of projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceu cal formula ons business development.
    • Must have lived and worked in mul ple African countries with an in-depth understanding of regional market dynamics.
    • Proven success in managing business opera ons, partnerships, and sales in Africa.
    • Strong network of contacts in pharma distribu on and regulatory agencies.
    • Excellent communica on, nego a on, and leadership skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field. MBA preferred.

    Preferred A ributes:

    • Mul lingual (French, Portuguese, or local African languages would be a plus).
    • Familiarity with dossier registra on, WHO GMP, and tender procedures.
    • Adaptable to mul cultural environments and dynamic business scenarios.
