  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Ruby on Rails applications

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices

  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services

  • Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases and optimize queries

  • Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS)

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments

  • Implement Docker-based containerization and infrastructure-as-code

  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

  • Ensure security, scalability, and cost optimization of systems

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails

    • Strong proficiency in Ruby, Rails frameworks, and related gems

    • Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda)

    • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

    • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments

    • Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and SQL

    • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

    • Familiarity with microservices architecture

    • Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in an Agile environment
