Full description
- Maintain and create system lifecycle and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with IT Infrastructure teams on system remediation, migration, replacement, and decommissioning activities.
- Work with software vendors/providers to address application vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate server and database patching activities.
- Perform and support Disaster Recovery (DR) testing.
- Manage and coordinate Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management activities.
- Coordinate backup/recovery and system monitoring activities.
- Coordinate software management and system-related activities.
- Perform small software enhancements and configuration changes.
- Oversee knowledge transfer, shadowing, and reverse-shadowing activities during system transitions.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT infrastructure teams.
- Collect and process business user demands and requirements.
- Monitor access, identity, and audit trails.
- Coordinate system archiving and retirement/decommissioning activities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience in IT technical support, systems operations, application support, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operational support.
- Experience or understanding of:
- AWS / Azure
- Windows / Linux
- MSSQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL
- Networking
- Citrix
- Hardware and software infrastructure
- Understanding of ITIL principles and Operational Excellence.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Experience working in a multicultural/diverse environment.
